Lakes Area Singles

LAS is an organization for singles in the Brainerd, Minnesota Lakes area. 

Our mission is to provide opportunities for social interaction.

Lakes Area Singles is a non-profit group that enables single people to make new friends and extend their social lives.   The group was organized in 1997 and currently has 120+ members.  Most members live in the Brainerd/Baxter/Nisswa area, but people come from much farther away and all are welcome. 

We are not a dating club, although naturally, many members have paired off over the years. It is a social group where you will find people who are in a similar situation to you. It gives you an opportunity to make new friends. We get together for meals, parties, dances, walking, plays, book club, boating, roundtable discussions, and out-of-town events.  We welcome new ideas from any members.

The calendar of activities is put together every month, and members receive a calendar each month by mail or email. You can also check out the calendar on the website. 

Prospective members are welcome to join us at any of our events. Just telephone or e-mail us if you have any questions. You’re welcome to try us out by attending up to three activities before you will be asked to join.
